This weekend Jared and I took our first road trip in our new car. We went to Spartanburg to visit Jared's grandfather. We went on Saturday and came back Sunday. It was great to see him. He wasn't able to make it down to our wedding, and it was the first time we had seen him since. He is always fun of very fun and interesting stories and always a treat to be around. Jared's aunt and uncle, Carolyn & Keith, also came with their daughters, Grace & Anna. It as a family affair, fried chicken, tapioca pudding and all. The girls had a great time playing with their cousin's (Sarah) toys, and Anna especially had a great time playing "jungle gym" on Jared.
On the way home, we stopped at the outlets in Commerce. Jared picked up some pants for his interview at John's Creek (it's tomorrow, cross your fingers and wish him luck!), and I picked up some work clothes and a new dress.
Now we're back home with our wonderful dog (who couldn't be more excited to see us), Jasmine.
