Spring Time

Spring has finally come!  

We are excited to take family walks and soak up the good weather.  On the days that Jared is home with Parker, he is sure to take him out during the day so that he can get his Vitamin D.

We are also eating family dinner together now with Parker sitting at the table with us.  Jasmine lays underneath.  I guess she's practicing for all of the food that Parker will drop for her one day.  It's really nice.  It also feels so grown up.

 

Luck O' The Irish

Parker has been quite the lucky charm for us this year.  He brings us so much joy each and every day.  He is eating almost 4 oz of cereal every day now.  He rolls all over the place sometimes even rolling off of his blanket.  He is also developing quite the personality.  He is incredibly friendly and loves watching and interacting with "big kids."  He was cute as pie in his "Kiss Me I'm Irish" t-shirt so I thought I'd share a few pictures.

Parker and Daddy at the Rally

Parker and Jared went to 103 West today to rally against a group called the “Fulton County Taxpayers’ Association”, made up of mostly wealthy north siders. They have sued the city seeking to revoke the pension improvement that gave FF's a 3% multiplier. They want to take it away both from active and already retired members.

Both Parker and Jared made an appearance in this Fox News clip.

Yummy Cereal!

Parker tried cereal for the first time last weekend and spent most of his time just pushing it out. We decided we'd give it another go-round this weekend. This weekend he did much better. Towards the end, he even realized how fun it was to splatter the food out when he blows. That is when we ended this eating session. :)

Nikki and Jamie had (well, Nikki birthed him) their 3rd beautiful baby boy this week. This weekend we took them some food and visited for a bit. Parker enjoyed meeting sweet baby Oliver.
