Jared's Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated Jared's 27th birthday. He turned down my offer to wake up early and cook him breakfast before he headed off to work, but he certainly took me up on my offer to fry up some chicken livers and gizzards and cook some cream corn and peas and okra. Saturday, I am going to make him a cake and take it to the station. He was too stuffed after dinner to think about cake. Jared had his dinner, a beer, his lovely wife and the Braves (uninterrupted and without complaints from his love wife) on his birthday. What more could a man wish for?
