Snowpocalypse 2011

Atlanta got its first snow of 2011, and it's the most I've ever seen!  Sunday night, the night sky was filled with flurries.  Jared and I along with Jasmine went outside to witness our neighbors Alison and Brandon playing in the snow.  They are from CA, and this was their first snow.  It was so fun.  They were as excited as kids, making snow angels and throwing snow balls.

The next day the roads were covered in now, almost 6 inches of it!

No one was going anywhere.  Jared stayed home.  I canceled a meeting.  Parker stayed home.  Next thing you know, we are getting all bundled up to go outside!

Jasmine LOVED the snow.  She ran around and was wild (for an old dog) and explored every bush she could.  Our neighbors, Walker and Sydney along with their dog, Sully, joined us outside.  Parker loved watching the dogs run around and be wild, but he really didn't have any cares of the snow.

Everything was covered up.  The cars, the plants.  It gave me an opportunity to try out some of the functions of my new lens.
