Ahh...a few days away

We recently made a trip to Kure Beach to visit Jared's grandparents, and it quickly became a family event.  Luckily, almost all of Jared's family (aunts, uncles and cousins) was able to make it.  Parker ate up all of that time surrounded by people loving on him.  He also made his first trip to the ocean.  He wasn't crazy about the cold water, but he loved soaking up the atmosphere.  He enjoyed the waves, the breeze and the birds.  He even took a nap out on the beach.  He also took his first ferry ride and had his first trip the pier.  Next year, he'll have pier ice cream for sure!
