Parker's First Birthday

Parker had a great birthday with family and friends.  He started off the day pretty grouchy and needy, and for those that know him best, they knew that he wasn't himself that day.  I think, like most babies, he was totally overwhelmed by all of the people and events.  Nevertheless, it was so special to be surrounded by so many people who know and love him and support his family.  We celebrated with hamburgers, hot dogs, macaroni & cheese (made by grandma), chips (made/purchased by GranJill), potato salad and slaw.  Parker had a delish devil's food cake from McEntyre's Bakery in Smyrna.  The grown ups enjoyed adult lemonade and other beverages.  The kids enjoyed Capri Suns and sodas.  The kids played corn hole and chased each other through the back yard.  Parker ended up having six little kids as guests!

Just look at all of the family and friends who love Parker and were able to make it to his party.

Earlier in the day, we took family pictures for Parker's first birthday.  I can't wait to share those as well!
