Beach Get Away

We went for a long weekend to Okaloosa Island, Florida (just outside of Destin) with the Corns and GranJill.  It was Parker's second beach trip.  I can't say he was a fan of the beach this go round.  He didn't like the bright sun, he didn't like the sand.  He just wanted you to hold him while he continuously wiggled and tried to climb you.  Luckily, GranJill provided some respite, and we had one day to relax on the beach.  She stayed inside with Parker so that he could be "busy" like he likes to be.

While there, we also, belatedly, celebrated Nikki's birthday.  We went out to dinner and split a delicious pot of lobsters, crab legs and other goodies.  We ended the evening with some chocolate hazelnut pound cake.  It was a great trip with great family.  Great kids having a great time.
