Parker's 6 month visit

Today Parker went in for his 6 month visit.  He weighed 15 lbs, 13oz!  He was 25 1/2 inches.  Our little boy is growing!  He was in the 25th percentile for weight, length and head circumference.  The doctor must have feared that we were concerned about Parker's height because she told us she thought he would grow to be around 6 feet tall (given my height and Jared's height).  We talked a little about his development - I let her know he wasn't sitting up yet.  She mentioned that babies have different muscle tones which effect their development.  It seems that Parker doesn't really like using his muscles, so he might not be ahead of the pack when it comes to crawling and walking and all that jazz.  That's just a little less chasing that Jared and I will have to do.  He got four shots today.  Bless his sweet heart.  He was so sad about them, but he regrouped pretty quickly.  He took some good naps for daddy today.  All in all, our little one is as healthy as can be and got a lot of compliments on those sweet baby blues.
