Parker is Growing - 4 month checkup

Parker continues to grow and get fatter! Today he weighed 14 lbs, 1 oz. That was an increase of 2 lbs, 4 oz from his last checkup 2 months ago. That put him in the 45th percentile (and we thought we had a fat baby!). He grew 2.25 inches in length. He is just under the 50th percentile there and with his head measurements. He seemed to have a great time laying on the examining table and staring out the window. He kicked wildly and talked loudly and a lot. He was a champ with his shots. He didn't make a peep for the 1st one, but the 2nd one made him mad. As soon as he was able to snuggle my shoulder, he calmed down. He nursed for a bit afterward, went to sleep and was fine. He did all of the tricks she expected him to do, and we talked about introducing solid foods. We're going to hold off for a bit. She encouraged waiting until around the 6 month mark. We are going to start having dinner at the table allowing Parker to sit in his bumbo seat on the table with us to see if he gets a little more interested in eating solids.
