We just got back from our annual trip to Kure beach to visit Jared's Grandma and Pawpaw along with the rest of the Richardson crew. On our way down, we were surprised to find that Parker had a fever. Our first night there, we nursed and snuggled a very worn out Parker. The next day he began feeling a little better, and we took our first adventure to the beach.
Parker really enjoyed playing in the sand on Friday. He wanted to eat it, and he got pretty mad when I said he couldn't. When Jared took him to the water, Parker ran as fast as he could away. We went back to the house and waited for family to start arriving.
Saturday, we spent a lot of time at the beach. Parker really enjoyed hanging out with Pawpaw on the beach. After Pawpaw introduced him to the water, he just couldn't get enough of it.
He also had a lot of fun playing with everyone else.

After a day at the beach, we came back to the house to get ready for the shrimp pot! It's a tradition. While we waited, we listed to some tunes from Matt and Ashleigh.
After eating, we headed down to the beach to take some family pictures - what a great looking and happy family! It was a great trip, and it's so wonderful to surround Parker with so much loving family.
