This morning I had some contractions. It was kind of fun to sneak in and tell Jared before I left for work. As of now, they are about 45 minutes apart. At this point in my pregnancy, the doctor thinks they may be painful Braxton Hicks contractions. If they begin to get closer together, they will want me to leave work and go home and count.
She said that I may have these today and not have anymore for two weeks, so it's not a sure sign that I'm going into labor. I hope I am not. I want Parker to hold out at least two more weeks (listen to mommy...must we have battles this early on?). We don't want any visits to the NICU!
My body's getting ready to birth this baby. It's a little terrifying and exciting all at the same time.
